Death by Caffeine: The Math Part 1 USA UNITS here.
The lethal dose for caffeine is about 150 milligrams per kg of body weight. While the average person’s caffeine consumption is around 200 milligrams a day, the Mayo Clinic advises against exceeding 500 to 600 milligrams per day.

You may want this much energy but be warned, energy drinks can kill.

It would take a ridiculously huge number of ANGRY WOMBAT energy drinks to kill a 14 year old weighing, say, 48 kg. Nevertheless, some kids are more sensitive to caffeine than others and then much lower levels of consumption of energy drinks can be fatal.

Death by Caffeine: The Math Part 2 Metric Units HERE.

Caffeine content sources Caffeine Content Data Base

On April 12 2017 16-year-old Davis Cripe collapsed at school in South Carolina and died later in hospital. In the span of two hours, Davis drank a cafe latte from McDonald’s and a large Mountain Dew, then “chugged” a 16-ounce energy drink when he got back to art class.
Here, assuming Davis drank large sized drinks, is the lethal caffeine consumption.

NOTE: Davis lived in the USA where standard drink volumes are slightly different to Australia & UK. The USA volumes are used here converted to litre and ml.
The official cause of death was “caffeine-induced cardiac event causing a probable arrhythmia,” the coroner concluded. Source: Washington Post
Caffeine can kill.

WARNING: “Mixing caffeine with alcohol is a dangerous practice because it may lead to higher levels of alcohol consumption as the person often believes and feels they are more alert,” said Dr Robert Glatter, ER doctor at Lenox Hill Hospital, NYC . “The risk of alcohol poisoning increases as people consume more alcohol because they feel the caffeine will keep them awake and alert.” Source: USA Today

Chocolate contains a poison called Theobromine.
LD50 for Theobromine for cats is 200mg.
LD = Lethal Dose. LD50= Lethal Dose for 50% of the population. Cats in this case. This is how poison toxicity is measured.
According to The Royal Society of Chemistry, cats are hypersensitive to Theobromine but, as cats cannot taste sweetness, they are rarely poisoned.

METRIC UNITS below. USA UNITS here.

BEAR STATISTICS
Grizzly Bear
Weight: 250kg
Height: 250cm
Top Speed: 56kph = 16 m/sec
More bear stats here.
Brown Bear
Weight: 680kg
Height: 250cm
Top Speed: 35kph = 10m/s
More bear stats here.
Comparing these speeds to the fastest man on earth, Usain Bolt:
Usain Bolt:
Top speed: 243kph = 12m/s
So Usain Bolt could out run a Brown Bear but NOT a Grizzly!
Bears are NOT as dangerous as:
In fact more Americans die choking on their own vomit each year than a re killed by bears.
More death stats here.
But bears are very fast so Park Rangers recommend the following survival tactics:

Every action hero gets into a fistfight. James Bond, Jason Bourne, Indiana Jones. Then there are all the stars known for their fight scenes. Sylvester Stallone ( Rocky), Arnold Schwarzenegger (True Lies), Jackie Chan (Any movie), Bruce Willis (Die Hard 1,2, 3 etc), Mel Gibson (Lethal Weapon I, II, III etc), Jean Claude Van Damm (Blood Sport, Street Fighter), Brad Pitt (Fight Club), Fast & Furious 1,2,3 and so on.
But can the human body take this punishment?
We can work it out. Measurements taken at The University of Manchester have shown that local boxing hero Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton really does live up to his name. (DailyScience)

Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton can pack a punch!!!!!

Similar results were found at Uni Manchester BBC (Force of boxer’s punch measured)
So one punch is equal to being hit by a car …… if only for a split second!!!!!!!!!!! Nevertheless you can be killed by this one punch.
You’ll find some great punching physics here
